Likar 
In the master’s studio: Franjo Likar
For a number of years I used to spend long hours in a studio of Franjo Likar, the extraordinary artist from Sarajevo. Together, we created a kind of workshop in which we made installations, objects, paintings, or photographs. On some of them I feature as a model and costume designer, and with great joy I have found out that some of those photos were included in the voluminous monograph “Likar”, dedicated to his life and work.
As he states in the monograph, he thought of making an exhibition that would comprise only photos made at those sessions, but the imminent war has irrevocably changed our lives. Yet, this long apprenticeship and collaboration grew into a warm friendship and mutual understanding, something that I have always dearly cherished.
