The spatial art intervention “Happy day”, realized in 2016, presents an embittered and ironic comment of the modern world, realized in the form of two large panels installed in public space, mimicking commercial advertisements. The images screened on those panels are made as collages depicting two different realities. One epitomizes the fake cornucopia of the consumerism: abundance, luxury, frivolity, and carelessness. On the opposite side, the real world is a brutal slaughterhouse where countless anonymous people perish in a carnage of destruction, poverty, and humiliation.
